Yes I know it took me over a month but I finally put up the pictures from my birthday trip to the USS Midway floating museum in San Diego. I spent about 20-30 minutes talking to Griff Griffin, a WWII SBD Dauntless dive bomber pilot. It was very interesting, I wish I’d started seeking out WWII vets a long time ago. I ended up paying another $20 to convert to an annual membership so I can go back and take my time amongst the aircraft. The self-guided audio tour is amazing, there are over 70 stations and most of the aircraft have an introductory speech about the history and most have an additional audio section spoken by a pilot of that aircraft describing either a particular mission or just flying it in general.
