Our sweet little Saratoga (who is only about five years old) has been in the hospital for five days now with a spinal cord injury. She had premature calcification of her backbone and something caused multiple discs to herniate and damage the spinal cord. The news was grim and we ended up driving an hour […]
I’ve posted our pictures from Comic-Con 2008 already but haven’t had the time to caption all of them yet. Hopefully I’ll finish this weekend.
Yes I know it took me over a month but I finally put up the pictures from my birthday trip to the USS Midway floating museum in San Diego. I spent about 20-30 minutes talking to Griff Griffin, a WWII SBD Dauntless dive bomber pilot. It was very interesting, I wish I’d started seeking out […]
Yesterday Rick, Holly, Saratoga and Milo did the Walk a Mile for the Animals charity walk to support the Rancho Coastal Humane Society (which is where we got Sara and Milo). We saw a cameraman from local News 8 filming there and as we were leaving he had his camera at ground level just as […]
And of course by “kids” I mean our dogs Saratoga, Milo and Jackson. We bought a nice hurdle and a collapsible tunnel at Toys R Us (of all places) a few weeks ago. We started them off with the bar low and have been raising it each time we take it out. We did just […]
Our server crashed hard due to a hardware failure (multiple things actually) but thanks to my friends Brian and Mike the box is back up and running now.
After an aborted attempt to upgrade our photo galleries to the new version I gave up so the old pictures of Jackson are gone. However I uploaded all those and more to the new Jackson gallery.
Holly and I went to a local pet shop to get a Valentine’s Day portrait of our two dogs and damned if they didn’t have five dogs from a local shelter there that they were trying to adopt out. Once Holly gave me “the look” I knew we were going home with dog #3. They […]
Sorry for the lack of updates, the dogs have been keeping us very busy. After doing some research we decided that Milo is probably part Toy Manchester Terrier and not Dachshund after all. A lot of people ask if he’s a Min-Pin (Miniature Pinscher) and he does look kind of like one. However there is […]
Yes, we only went two months with Saratoga before adopting our second dog. Milo is a tiny Chihuahua mix (maybe with Dachshund). He is about three years old and we chose him at Rancho Coastal Humane Society on Saturday about an hour after he was dropped off. A lady in Victorville takes in rescue dogs, […]
Yes, we’ve posted two more sets of Sara pictures already. As we post more they go to the beginning of the gallery.
Holly and I adopted Saratoga today from the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 3-year old Terrier mix (we think part chihuahua maybe). She’s very shy and will take a while to get used to her new home but she’s very sweet. Saratoga’s first day home gallery
Holly gave me my Christmas present early: a giant PerfectFlame barbecue grill. See pictures here.
Holly took some more pictures of Dora today while cleaning her cage (the new pics are at the beginning of the gallery). New Dora pics
I finally cleaned up the Goodguys photos that I took inside the buildings and posted them. They start in the middle of page 2 of the gallery, look for the purple ’58 Impala.
